Imagine this, He created this beautiful world in the dark. WOW...Now imagine if He had the light on. God is awesome isn't He?

Actually, according to Scripture, the earth was made first but it was without form, then God said "Let there be light". Than lastly everything on earth was created.

Light is only necessary for the sence of sight which would could be entirely superfluous to a Being that is not physical and therefore would not necesarily need or be able to use light. Light is simply the medium through which we mortals see.

Interesting point... according to physicists who study cosmology, the very first event in the nanosecond after the explosion that created the big bang was the production and release of photons (light particles)

Coincidence?

Why does God need light? I do you know he even has vision. He knows everything that is going on, even when the lights are out I bet. So turning the light out when your having "Private Time" doesn't shield from God's sight.

you didn't ask a question but if you meant did God make the earth than i would say yes. part of being a christian is the blind faith you have to just believe even if it doesn't make sense. If you can understand it its not God. (I forgot whio said that, a pope i think?)

Do you really think a being such as God, who made the "earth" and universe, needs light to see??? Think about that.

No, the Fundies invisible friend didn't need any light. "He" didn't even need any mud, as "he" did when "he" wanted to "create" Adam. "He" made the earth out of the ether, and in total darkness.
