Anyone else out there? Just looking to chat with some folks. I only work at one RenFaire a year right now, but I do some other kinds of Faires. What Faires do you do, and what are your charaters like?

I work/live in the Pacific Northwest(USA).

This year my character is a wandering minstrel named Ivy. I'm also maybe doing "Bard in a Box" which is basically going to be like a Medieval jukebox. Should be fun!!!

Hi. I am a Native American actor in Wyoming and I had the pleasure of playing a character at the annual Madrigal Feast at our local community college one year. They haven't had it in 2 years, I think because of a lack of directorial interest; however, I volunteered to direct it. They've never called me, unfortunately. The Madrigal Feast is usually comprised of a short comedic play with a variety of acts throughout the evening. People come and have dinner and they are entertained during the meal and after. Also there is a King's Court made up of musicians and they sing Baroque music. I had a lot of fun performing in it and I must say most people were floored when they saw an Arapaho Indian doing an English dialect.

Well, I was supposed to be starting this year.. training as a bo-staff fighter, but the group I was joining had issues and split.. so right now I am just a volunteer.. but my character is a Finnish Paige who fled from .. grr.. forgot the city now, it was attacked and I fled to Turku.. and well, let's just say there's way too much to the story.. I may edit some of the later stuff anyway..since it was added more to make meeting the others in the group logical.. I'm working on being one of the fighters, but even as an actor it would be fun.. I'm in character as a volunteer as well though.. one of the good things about having a character who wanders..
