Here are my skills: ANYTHING artistic, I`m an especially good writer, I`m smart and good at absorbing information, collecting data, doing a variety of things, good people skills, personable

What I want: something investigative, intellectual, adventurous, where you work on a variety of projects and you don`t sit around all day, something that affects the world and deals with the "big pic", no routine, no monotonous details, something creative and stimulating

Personality wise I`m intelligent and extremely creative, kind, can handle people, am interested in people, I`m a DOER, I hate being bored and always like working on projects, i`m very dedicated and value the meaning in things...INFP if you know what that means. I strive for something full of purpose and certainly important to society. I can do high level math and science but i am naturally gifted in the arts. I`m not interested in "art" but design like engineering. I can make anything look beautiful.

You don't say what your educational level is. This can make a HUGE difference in the direction of your career. However it would seem that from what you said, some path in journalism / investigative reporting might be a fit.

You say you like to write, you will need creative writing classes, college level and probably a degree in journalism. Having good people skills is good but a lot of people have good people skills and the eternally ho-hum "I like to work with people." So do most people. Understand that to work in any field you enjoy, you must first pay your due to that field. That is, you start at the bottom and learn the basics, then through your skills and hard work you "may" advance to where you ultimately would like to be and doing what you would like to do. The process isn't easy or quick. Just like most things, one starts as a baby and learns and grows.

I would highly recommend a book called "What Color is Your Parachute" It has been in print forever and is constantly updated. It is one of the best sources for helping one figure out what the right career is for them and how do go about achieving that goal.

Good luck and I hope this has helped some.

I suggest you investigate public relations. If you want to try out the field, you can volunteer for a nonprofit organization. In PR you can do creative writing, publicity, work with the media, manage special events--there is a lot of variety. If you want to make a difference in the world, then working for a cause you care about would be a good choice. Volunteering gives you something to add to your resume, and someone to serve as a reference (so do a good job when you do it). Even if your career takes you elsewhere, you can always volunteer.

You have asked a question. And that is good. However, you have a long list of criteria for what the answer to your question should be in order to be considered a "good" answer.

Whatever you choose to do in life, you will not be happy. Unless, you first seek you own happiness. Discover the joy in simply being, without doing and you will discover what you are meant to do. Then spend your life doing that.

Suggestion: read "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. That is a place to start.

Maybe you should consider taking a personality / career test. They do offer them online for frr and some you can pay for, but never pay for smething that you can get for free.

You have to know what you want and what makes you happy. That will determine what career you need to get into.

I did do one and it said i should try accounting and i got an accounting job without having a degree and I LOVE IT!
