I was out in the woods on a long walk during a Catholic retreat. I turned a corner and suddenly had an epiphany; for one brief instant everything seemed to possess a complete and albsolute unity,of which I was a part. It lasted an instant but it was unforgetable.

I wish I could say that I was in a state of perpetual oneness, but I'd be lying if I said I was. Anyway, the last time that I truly felt at one with nature was during a trip to the redwood forests in northern California. The air was clean and fresh, the trees had a quiet strength and dignity, and I felt energized and privileged to be among them.

Though I enjoy visiting little bits of nature when I can (the park, the mountains, etc.), I will not be one with nature again until I die.

Of course I will prolly be so pumped full of artificial chemicals that it will take years for me to start decomposing (kind of like a Twinkie).

To be in a state of perpectual "One-ness" -{(ADWAITHA YOGA(M)}--one needs a lot of bakthi(devotion)-Abyaasam(practice/efforts)-pesverence, meditation, and finally Anubhavm(realisation)--P.S.:-"practice and effort" is missing in the main post

Everyone is in a state of continual oneness, they have just forgotten and allowed themselves to be brainwashed out of it.

It is not a state.

Separateness is a state...One is who we are.

So if you just be who you really are...that would be perpetually one (as you say).
