Did you know, that even though man-kind does not know what is the purpose of the appendix... it is not cut out of the human body unless it is infected or diagnosed as the root of an infection. Some of us are born with big ears but there is no need to cut them off because they still work. Timex takes a licking but keep on ticking. Life is like a box of chocolate, blah,blah, blah, you think too much. blah.....

Because irreversibly mutilating oneself is a sin. Because priests, monks, and nuns do not give up their masculinity or femininity. Because there is no virtue in denying oneself of what one cannot have anyway.

just because you don't use it doesn't mean you want to cut something off of your body that isn't medically necessary. that would be painful, and cause lots of medical problems, plus how are they supposed to pee right, have some kind of catheter stuck in you somehow, that would suck.

Actually, Gods word states that if you cannot control "it" , you may very well want to have "it" cut off.
There are many interesting stories and situations in the bible. in fact you cannot think of a story or situation that isnt written about in the bible. Read it, you will enjoy much of it.
