In 1967 Israel detected that all the neighbouring arab countries were massing troops at her borders in preparation for an invasion on several fronts simultaneoulsy which would have been disasterous for Israel.
Israel therefore decided to attack first (just as the arabs did in the Yom Kippur War).
The arab nations have no right to complain about "occupied territories" - it was their aggression that caused them to lose the land. You can't start a war with the intent of invading a country and then when things go badly plead for your own territory to be given back.
The Jews had to suffer sharing what was then the land of Palestine with the arabs for centuries. When Isreal was declared they didn't set about expelling or killing the arabs and only wanted to live in peace yet the arab nations attacked Israel even before a proper country had even been formed. On the very day that the State of Israel was declared arab warplanes bombed Tel Aviv - so there is no question of who is the aggressor in this situation.
It speaks volumes for the incompetence of the arabs that they have never defeated Isreal despite their overwhelming numbers and access to the best equipement (most of it supplied by the USSR) that their oil could buy.
When - and only when - the arabs demonstrate that they can co-exist with a sovereign and secure State of Isreal will peace return to that region of the World. It is the arabs that continue to bring misery, poverty, death and conflict to the Middle East.

If americans don't know that then they certainly don't know that isreal was created by the us and uk after wwii by taking land away from palestine. so, instead of Isreal being the state in exile plaistien beceame the state without real estate. But the philistines and the jews have been battling like this for centuries ... what is your point? Sombody's wright and sombodies wrong, that got lost centuries ago. This dance of the Jews and the Philistines is their eternal embrace their death grip on each other ... if I may wax poetic. Would you bregurged Israel a state after the hollecaust - No. should they have taken the land from Palistien - No. Thewy've been dancing with each other for centuries.

Congratulations, you have solved one of the great mysteries facing the World since April 1945: We now know that Adolf is alive and functioning, just read your question. A little anti-Semitic are we? For certain, your grasp of history needs some work. There never was a country called Palestine in 1967. There was an Eagles Nest in 1945,. Perhaps in your extreme old age you were thinking of that part of the World? Well, my Germanic friend, stay away from open windows.

Well you are obviously unaware of a great many things yourself.
1. The 'palestinians' didn't even exist until the Children of Isreal came back home in the late 40's. The 'plight of the palestinians' is a fabrication of the islamic nationa that are bent on the destruction of the Jews!
2. When God called Abram out from his people, he made his first pact with Humans and created the Jewish nation (without God, there are no Jews, just Arabs warring with Arabs!).
God led the Children of Isreal to the promised land and warned them not to make treaty with ANY of the inhabitants of those lands. Isreal was fooled and did make a Pact. God wanted ALL of the inhabitants of that region DESTROYED!
Due to Isreal's failure to heed God's command, it was prophesied that Isreal would have trouble with thier decendants, FOREVER!
GOD WANTED ALL ARABS DEAD BECAUSE OF THEIR REJECTION OF HIM (GOD).
Therefore the land was never to be any Arab home, so who cares what the 'palestinians, or Syrians, or egyptians, or iraqis or iranians or jordanians think about it, they are not even supposed to exist, had Isreal obeyed!

Son you should have checked America's age mean. You are talking to a generation of people that were here when are shortly after they deposited the Jews on the worthless unoccupied sands of the mostly Jordanian desert. There was no Palestine. The Jordanians contributed that land.
Maybe if you would claim to be a Jordanian refugee they would ship you there.
After you guys ganged up on them (Israel ) they with God's strong hand kick your assess.
If you are going to attack Israel here you need to have your facts straight.
Your father mustache!

As a fellow Muslims, we are concern about the well being of other Muslim countries including Palestine.
It is no doubt that Israel is a Jew country which received support ( All kind of support ) from another Jew country (America). Why the invading of Palestine and other Muslims countries has never come to an end?
America need alot of money to support Israel in building another Jew country. The building of another Jew country in the East is important to America as they wanted to control the wealth of the Muslim countries in the Middle East which are very rich in Oil.
When America has achieve these plan, no other country will have any right to progress. Everything will be under Jews control. The wealth, Oil, Business, Military, Nuclear Power, religion and etc will be monopolise by Jews.
The most richest countries in the world happens to be the Muslim countries which are rich in Oil. As such, America invaded some of these countries to siphone the wealth of these countries to support Israel.
Unfortunately, many of the Muslims countries are not united. Thus, it give an opening to America to invade the Muslim countries. To cover up their action, they claimed that the country is building up Nuclear power and attack the country to control their wealth.
Should America is particular in preventing the building up of Nuclear Power and attack the country to stop the activity, why didn't America attack North Korea which had blatantly admitted building up Nuclear Power. In the past America had attacked Iraq for the same reason, then why North Korea does not receive the same fate as Iraq? Is it because North Korea is a poor country or because America is afraid to experience defeat as they had in Vietnam or because North Korea is not a Muslim country ? And why America is keen to attack Iran, a Muslim country which is rich in Oil ? What is the intention of America ? Is it the Oil or the Nuclear Power ?

I am aware:
That Muslims donot have Unity, Do not have a leadership.
That is the reason for all the problems faced by the Muslim community today.
It is True that so called Muslims have killed Muslims more
than Israel.
Will any of the so called Muslim countries tolerate Palestinians and offer a refuge?
It looks strange and ridiculous that Palestinians while accepting charity from USA still fight against them.
Now Israel has become a reality .The problem of Palestine cannot be solved by mere suicide bombing by palestinians. They need to change their strategy and their ways to attain help and cooperation from all the nations of the world including USA and Israel.
I am an Indian Muslim.

There was never and independant country called "Palestine" ever in history. There was a territory called "Palestine" that was part of the Ottoman then British Empires. But that ceased in 1948. From 1948 to 1967 the West Bank and Gaza were part of Jordan and Egypt respectively.
Your statement of "Israel invaded Palestine in 1967" is therefore wrong on two counts. 1) There was no Palestine to invade 2) It was a defensive war and thus not an invasion.
The rest of your statements are false as well.
And for the record, the American media is largely not "pro Israel" by any objective criteria.

Most Americans believe the Israeli propaganda. Some really want to believe it. I myself don't know why some Americans favor confiscation of property from the people who own it to create Jewish-only settlements, or the targetting and killing of civilians who protest against it.
In the first rebellion by Palestinians against the Israeli occupation, they mostly used peaceful means, strikes, protest and so forth. Israel responded as they usually do, with lethal force, beating protesters sometimes to death. Apparently, some Israeli soldiers were following Yitzak Rabin's call to "break their bones". While Palestinian violence increased over time, about 1000 Palestinian civilians died compared to 100 Israeli civilians.
During the "Oslo" years, Israelis continued to kill Palestinians at twice the rate.
In the last Intifada, 100 Palestinians were killed by Israelis before some Palestinians started exploding themselves inside Israel. I'm sorry they did so, and I don't approve, but if my land was taken by a foreign government and given over for the sole use of citizens of that foreign government, from which I were barred from becoming a citizen even though my parents had been born in that country, if I was barred by that government from living on my land, building on it or growing crops on it, and it was given to people whose soldiers beat my father, sons or cousins for the fun of it, I don't know what I'd do.
You won't find many supporters of Israel who fairly look at the facts of the situation. Hate has blinded them.
