If you mean does some part of us continue living after death then the answer is no. Contrary to popular opinion, the bible does not teach that we go on living after death. Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the living are conscious they they will die, but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all," Psalm 146:4 "His spirit goes out, he goes back to the ground; in that day his thoughts do perish." John 11: 11 " Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to waken him from sleep." How cruel would it have been to drag poor Lazarus back from some glorious heavenly place if that's were he had gone, no Lazarus was no more, he was asleep in death. Acts 7:60 of Jesus "and after saying this he fell asleep in death". However, even though we do not live after death there is the hope of a resurrection when Gods Government is established on earth; John 5:28 "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice" Some will be resurrected to heaven, see Revelation Ch.7. Most though will be resurrected to a paradise earth, see Revelation chapters 20 and 21

I was gathering information from the Bible to support the immortal soul belief but somebody deleted the question before I could answer it. Thanks for bringing it back. I believe it.
Anyway, first of all, we have Saul going to the witch of Endor to contact Samuel so he could ask him a question. 1 Samuel 28:15-19. If Samuel was in the grave with no thoughts, this person would just be pretending to contact him and her words would mean nothing. Then how did she know what Samuel had said to David while he was alive and how did she know that he wouldn't be succesful in battle? Channeling the devil, I guess.
Bible says the soul that is sinning will die and we are dust. Translators say that means the soul is merely the body. No separate life force that continues on. What about Matt 10:28? There is a separation of body and soul here. What about Rev. 6:9? There are souls of those who had died here. Gen.35:18 talks about the soul of Rachel departing from her.
What of Jesus' parable of the rich man and Lazarus? The angels carried the beggar? Why if he was just a corpse and who was speaking to him? I thought Abraham was dead and had no thoughts. How could he be speaking? What about the transfiguration? I thought Elijah and Moses were dead? Dead people don't stand around talking do they?
If people believed this, they might start believing in ghosts and think that we all naturally go to heavan when we die and then they would doubt the quality of Jesus' sacrifice. I hope more people start to believe in our own immortality of spirit and don't make that mutually exclusive to believing in Jesus.

Some people may think that DEATH means the end which is not true at all, after death, man get asked about 3 things, guess what, they are asked "Who is your God?", "What is your religion?" and "Who was your prophet?".
The answer to these three questions determines the destiny of every one, either Heaven or Hell.
And as a Muslim, I totally believe that for a man to go to Heaven, they need to believe in one God and worship Him, this is Allah, all religions sent by Allah were to guide people to worship Allah only as the only God that exists.

Yes there is and don't ever doubt it because it is true, I lost my daughter last year and I have seen her in dreams.
In the dream she told me something I didn't know, and what she told me happened the next day. And there is life after death I have seen a lot of members of my family, they look a lot younger and I have spoke to them.

I spent some time working in a religious farming community when I was around 20 yrs old. One evening at dinner I sat next to an old priest (at least 80 yrs old) named Fr. Gene. He proceeded to tell me about the time when he was a young priest and he went to the dentist. He was given some anaesthetic and apparently his body reacted negatively. He lost consciousness, and then next thing he knew he was floating outside his body above the dentist chair, watching the dentist working on his body trying to restore consciousness. The dentist eventually did revive him, and he went back into his body. I had heard of these outer body experiences before but I had never heard a personal account of such a thing from someone who I considered to be credible. After hearing about Fr. Gene's experience I am confident that life continues after death.
