Unfortunately not legally. But they can be proud that they do not suffer the ignorance and closed-mindedness of the people who reported.
Fortunately, they will become more open-minded, while the ones reporting will learn nothing. So it's a double win without doing anything. Now it's just time to pick up and come back.
May peace go with you throughout your life

They could try, but I'd doubt they'd find a lawyer to even take such a case, much less a judge who would agree that it had any merit. Y!A pretty much has every legal right to control on what can and cannot be posted on the "forums" and to decide what sort of action to take regarding accounts of people who they feel violate the terms of service or community guidelines.

On what grounds? There's a TOS that you voluntarily agree to when you sign up for your account, and part of that TOS says that Yahoo has the right to delete an account for any reason at their discretion.
I don't get why people violate the TOS, and then somehow try to claim Yahoo is the "bad guy" for doing something about the violation.

I just don't get why people feel the need to report everyone for every little thing.
