Christians? Why is abortion and euthanasia wrong?
I'm an atheist. Someone asked me so you dont believe in god? Then whats to stop you from killing someone, I said thats not what i believe in.(murder) But for Christians if heaven is so much better then earth and your judged when you die anyway why picket abortion? or be against euthanasia? people are going to a better place. Not really dying just there body right? For the record im against murder. For abortion in sensible perimeters and for euthanasia again in sensible peremiters.

Uh, new catholic. sensible perimeters as it pertains to euthanasia are If someone WANTS to die because they have an impending fate such as incurable cancer, liver disease and a lot of fatal illness's. Beside life.

First off, I do not consider myself a Christian or an atheist. I just find too much wrong in all organized religion.
I am not going to tell you that euphanizum and abortion are wrong. They are a matter of opinion... as is everything in religion. Someone started and idea and it attracts many followers. Ta-da, a religion is born.
I believe my dog has a soul, but if he was sick and in pain I would take him to the vet and have him put down. No one would disagree with that. We are kinder to animals than to people.
My mom has been in a nursing home with Alzheimer's for the past two years. She has no control of her bodily functions, she can barely talk, and sits in a wheelchair all day. This is all paid for by welfare. For what? This is not life that she would want to live. Her body might as well be considered dead, but she still breathes. If she could be euthanized, I would be calling Dr. Kevorkian.
Abortion is one of those subjects that I go off on. The way I understand society; everyone who gets pregnant should give birth. There IS a difference between a fetus and an unborn child (abortion should not be allowed after the third month of pregnancy). Cancer is a living organizum too, should we let it live its time out?
Some mothers will leave their infant in a trash can. Others will keep the baby bringing it up with abuse, and exposed to drugs and gang related activities. And they will keep popping them out, living on welfare that other people work hard to pay for. Bringing unloved people into the world creating over crowded prisons.

Im not christian, let me start off by saying that. Also, im pro-choice. However, Christians are not fighting abortion because they think the baby isn't going to a better place, they're fighting it because they don't believe that any human being has the right to take the life of another, including an unborn. It has nothing to do with whether or not someone is going to heaven. Same goes for euthenasia. (im sure thats not how you spell it but you get the idea) They're argument is the good lord will take you when he is ready for you. I don't agree with this, either. I believe sometimes, the suffering isn't worth it. However, it is the Christians right to voice their opinion on the matter.

Warrior for Christ... So what you are saying is that if a baby's parents are not saved the baby will be punished for that by being sent to hell?? Holy sh it you people are insane, it never ceases to disturb and revile my sense of morality.. the things you ignorants spew...
PS great question by the way, I can't answer it however as I hold the same views as you do.. but it should be "parameters" by the way, just so people don't insult you for bad spelling in a good question next time..
PSS Richard b.. Let me ask you this, do you have a problem with euthanising a dog or cat when the only other option is to let it suffer until it dies in pain ? If not then what is the difference where humans are concerned? are we not just as deserving of merciful release from something that can no longer truly be considered life?

Abortion: I believe every child should have a chance on what they will do while they live out there lives, abortion takes that choice from them, while the mothers could have given the're unexpected babies up for adoption. Why is abortion even an option? It's killing a living organism and there's always the option for adoption.
Now for euthanasia: That seems for sensible to me if the patient is riden with pain from cancer, aids, or has been in a coma for years. Once again it's a choice, I would never want to be euthanized myself. But if they want to end all the suffering, and they have talked to their family about it then I can't judge them just like I can't judge abortion clinics I only have my opinions/facts.

In an earlier question some Christians said they would rather have their children die than leave the faith.
Wouldn't an innocent fetus have a one way ticket to heaven or is God such a mean SOB that this person thats never even taken a breath required to burn in hell forever?
If the child does go to heaven then wouldn't abortion be the greatest gift we could give our children?
Sorry just a little moody today... nix that I'm not sorry.

You can't be against murder and for abortion and euthanasia, because abortion and euthanasia ARE murder - the premeditated, intentional destruction of a human life. That's the definition of murder. What you want to do is define which murders are acceptable and which are not. That's what the Nazis did. In a state where ALL human beings are not protected, NO human beings are safe.

There are two problems.
1. We believe that the baby being killed is human and has life and therefore killing it is Murder.
2. The next problem is who exactly is going to set the "Sensible perimeters" What is sensible to me may not be to you. What if the one setting them decides that it is "Sensible" to euthanize people at the age of retirement because if they are not producing, they have no value? What happens if they decide that euthanizing a whole group of people is "Sensible" because they are not welcomed here? That has been done before. I will let God decide, he has already set the "Sensible Perimeters" so we do not have to.
Peace be with you!

Catholic teaching places a VERY high value on life. It is considered sacred and due the utmost respect. So Catholic teaching is pretty much always again the forceful taking of human life "from conception to natural death."
Now don't get me wrong, there are times when it's not so cut and dry. For example, you CAN take someone off of life support but you cannot introduce a drug to their system that will stop their heart. Killing in self-defense can be permissible (still saddening) while suicide is not.
I can't speak for other Christian denominations, but hopefully that will give you one piece of the puzzle.

in my opinion, i'm not against abortion. yet technically abortion is comparable as ending a human life. human beings supply many justifications for abortion, yet do you think of it somewhat is justifiable to kill a new child in a wellbeing facility with the aid of fact the youngster is deformed or has a terminal ailment or this is in simple terms too costly to maintain the youngster alive? Do you think of it somewhat is justifiable to kill infants on the line considering which you think of they don’t have a destiny? If not, how do they justify killing a fetus? There might desire to be extra compelling motives, like, with the aid of clinical issues new child beginning might desire to be volatile for the two mom and new child. subsequently abortion might save one life particularly of putting 2 lives in possibility. Even right here, we'd desire to step back and ask ourselves, can we've the splendid to take this determination to end a life? can we've the awareness to take the splendid determination? yet maximum worry-unfastened reason in the back of abortion is, the couple have been too damn stupid and did not use risk-free practices. after which they don’t want the accountability to strengthen a new child. it is maximum appalling and stupid and not a reason adequate. whilst you're making is mistake, own up and take the accountability. keep in mind, abortion is the comparable as pointing a gun at a very harmless new child and pulling the set off. in case you will possibly be able to desire to do it, you extra desirable have a outstanding reason in the back of it.

God formed each of us in our mother's womb. He formed us in Love, with a purpose and a calling. He created us. It is evil to destroy life -- that is Satan's purpose - to destroy what God creates. At the moment of conception the baby is alive, and there is evidence that unborn babies actually shrink back from the abortion needle. Would you want to have died that way? Aren't you glad someone gave you life? If someone had decided you were a "choice," not a person, your tiny limbs and feet and hands would have been scraped out and put in the trash. That is what is happening to millions of fetuses as a result of peoples' sin. I would call it the modern-day holocaust.
