Something to think about. Let us assume that we came about by means of evolution, and that we are related to, say, apes.
1st, why did seemingly lower forms of primates like monkeys and apes survive when the homo erectus and others like that die out?
2nd, why are we getting dumber if we've evolved? Look @ what mankind accomplished in the past w/o the help of the technology we have today (pyramids, sphinx, stonehendge, etc.). Why is their construction such a mystery to us?
3rd, (more like 2b) why, considering that we're the most intelligent life forms, have we created such fairy tales about the afterlife and the supernatural? The other animals accept death as death and don't see past it. We just have to make up ways to survive, either by heaven, hell, reincarnation, or something like that.
Lemme know whatchu think, creationists and evolutionists alike.

Fit this wherever you wanna fit this, but why are we self-destructive with our advances? We build bombs, engineer diseases (and then the cures in order to make $$$ from them, we pollute the earth, etc.)

Okay, for all primates that live in the wild... if we evolved from any form of them or share a common ancestor with them, were we not ALL still living in the wild @ some point in the past??? How did the others adapt to life in the jungle and we adapted to living in buildings? Of course they've adapted to their environment, but did humans not build cities to live in???

I didn't literally mean 'fairy tales'. Some atheists (not all of them; I'm not generalizing) will allege that the Bible and other religious texts are nothing more than fairy tales made up by people to explain away the inevitable. I believe in the hope that the Bible holds out to righteous humans; but for argument's sake I assumed the positon of the nay-sayer (of course if you were paying attention you'd probably realize that).

Think about our great universe, as well as our own body with its wonderful construction and design. Sound reasoning should tell us that these things did not simply evolve or come by themselves. They had to have a Designer, a Creator. Consider other things that we see around us. When you are in your house, ask yourself: Did my desk, lamp, bed, chair, table, walls, or even the house itself, evolve? Or did they need a maker? Of course intelligent persons had to make them! In what way, then, can it be claimed that our much more complex universe and we ourselves did not require a maker? And if God put us here, he surely had a reason for doing so.

1) You begin with the assumption that apes and monkeys are "lower" forms of life, which is a flawed idea. They are very well adapted to their environment, and thus continue to survive. This is how evolution works - if you don't adapt, you die. Most people alive today would die if they were suddenly forced to live in the wilderness like apes.
2) The construction of the pyramids and other wonders are well understood by science and historians, although there are obviously gaps in our knowledge. If you'd actually bothered to do some research you would have realised that the only mystery surrounding them are their purposes. Again, you make assumptions without any good reason.
3) Who are you to say that stories of the afterlife and supernatural are "fairy tales"? Are you some sort of authority on the subject? No. And you have no idea what animals think of death - besides, their are millions of different species out there, you can't just prescribe one sort of behaviour to all of them.
Furthermore, there are plenty of people who DO accept death, so again you've demonstrated your facile logic in posing these questions.
I do wish people would actually educate themselves a bit more before attempting to make themselves an authority on something.

1) Some species die out, where other similar species more effectively compete.
2) There are few mysteries in how the pyramids of Egypt were built. Technique, use of man power, and the engineering are all well understood.
3) As self aware animals we, of course, face different problems with how death is dealt with.

Modern monkeys and non-human apes are not the same monkeys and non-human apes as the ones that lived in the time of Homo erectus. They too have evolved to be better fit in their ecological niches.
Construction techniques were a critical state secret in the past. Concrete was lost for over 1,000 years.
Chimps can form abstractions at the same level as a five-year-old child. Only humans can express abstract ideas, so only we can tell stories to explain abstract experiences.

1. Evolution is still occurring. They lower primates still serve their own purpose on this earth and will eventually evolve or die out themselves.
2. Nice try, but only an opinion my friend.
3. For some reason, part of our psychology is to explain the unexplainable. It's easier to make up stories about these things than to understand that we CAN'T understand.

personally i'm epicurean. the lower foms of primates that survived had somthing the more intelecual apes did not, the parts of the brain that held information for natural instinct and the parts for physical streangth were/are larger.
we are getting dumber becouse the fact that our technology makes life easier, turns our brains into tapioca and our muscles into flab. the great wonders of the world are mysterious becouse we do not know how the people could possibly have managed it with their present technology. i don't think that the pyramids are a wonder anymore even though they are called that.
we create these stories to (a)make ourselves feel better about death and (b[not realy true now])to allow us to control others easily.

Animals die out due to environmental changes that take away their food source, or due to out competition for their food source. Monkeys and Homo erectus did not compete for the same food, and therefore the dying out of one would not affect the other.
Your other questions are quite funny attacks on theism, but they do not represent serious statements, so I assume that you are just joking at their expense.

1. Location, location, location
2. Dumber?? Technlogy IS an advancement, besides we know how they built all those things, they aren't mysteries - watch the Discovery Channel
3. We have a third layer of the brain that gives us "consciousness" ( I think, therefore I am). animals don't have that
I think a little scientific knowledge would do you well

You have the wrong idea about what evolution is. Evolution is not about advancement it is about adaptation. Apes survive because they are adapted to their enviornment.
The past is a mystery to us only because it wasn't written down.
Primitive people could not have built an airplane or a skyscraper.
Other animals accept death because they don't know what it is.
Man is the only animal who can contemplate the future or understand death. Religion is way of rationalizing his short time on earth.

2nd...the Internet, the airplane, cures for diseases.
3rd...we are the only species to ask "why" questions.
