ive been getting random white spots on my skin-some are flat and some are bulgy
i have 3 on my arms and 6 on my legs
i know that some are cuts from shaving but i dont get how they all seemed to turn into perfect little cirlces that wont tan back-and ive been in the sun since then
am i safe or should i go to a dermatologist?
magazines are putting a lot of warnings on skin cancer in their issues so its really been on my mind
please help!

i get theme on my neck in the summer i have had this problem since i was about 13 and im now 21. its nothing really it is a disease. the doctor told me it was b/c i was allergic to uv rays. crazy i know. just put sunscreen on and it shouldnt get any worst. its just something that the doctors decided to call a disease b/c they really dont know what it is!

The skin tags should be removed if they irriate you. The new moles should be look at by a dermatologist. If the edges of the moles are smooth and even odds are that it is just a mole but if the mole has a very uneven and look ugly then I would quickly go see a dermatologist - skin cancer is increasing through-out the US. The pigments are hard to call - Basal Cell carcinoma often looks like a patch. I had over 20 spot removed from my mothers face when she was in her 70s which is much younger than you. The more I write - the more concerned I get that you may be in a pre-cancerous stage and you need a medical opinion not a Yahoo opinion

It sounds like tinea versacolor (a fungal infection). I have had it all my life. Sweating causes it to spread. You need to see a doctor (you can go to a regular doctor) to make sure. He will give you something that will clear it up but it never goes completely away.

i doubt thats skin cancer. but i would see a dermatologist.

please go to the doctor a friend of mine has the same thing on her skin and she is going to the doctor. i dont know what the doctor told her or i would tell u.. i hope u are ok.Godbless
