A lot of people say a lemon tree or farmers markets, but that don't fair well with people up in Iowa or Nebraska where wintertime temps get to 40 below zero. Lemon trees are not a good thing for cold temps.

I'd have to say a farmer's market. Maybe. But it's great if you have a neighbor with a lemon tree. Even the produce manager at my local store said a buck a lemon was insane. They're expensive right now because of drought.

If you are able to, you should go and buy them at a veggie stand. Maybe a farmers market. Out here in central PA, we have plenty of those and the Amish sell the best produce for dirt cheap!....well maybe not lemons

Well the best thing that I would tell you is to try a local growen farm market, or a whole place like Sam's Club or B.J.'s club. Otherwise grow your own stuff to save money, belive me it dose work, you should try it.

yeah i know they ARE kinda pricey.. umm try a 99 cents store! they sell a small sack of lemons 4 99 cents so its not too expensive.

Try buying them at a mexican grocery store, they are cheaper than buying them at a high priced grocery store.
