how long do job bids usually take?

the job i applyed for-waiting on job bids. How long does that normally take?

factory position. not government. the robinette company in bristol, tn.

Sounds like a Union shop in which case depending upon who bids on it could be awhile until it all settles out. If someone bids on it and gets it they have to post a bid for his job etc etc. Bids are usually up for 3-5 days each, then another week in which to decide who gets it and so on and so on.
