I think it would take at least three months, there are parts of the Wall that are almost impossible to cross due to erosion and dangerous mountain cliffs, check out sites below

It seems that the length of the Great Wall of China is a matter of dispute. See:http://www.csoonline.com/read/050105/debrief.html
where it is said to be between 1,500 to 4,500 miles depending on the source that you consult. So when someone says they have walked The Great Wall, it is only their own version. The Great Wall is not just in one piece anyway and never has been. I have been twice to Badaling the main tourist attraction and "Lao Long Tou" The "Old Dragon's Head" (because the Chinese look upon the Great Wall as a dragon), where the Great Wall starts near Qinhuangdao overlooking the Bohai Sea.
If you consult a good map you will see that it is in different places, and not even in places where the parts would all be joining up.
Actually if you attempted to walk every part of it you would probably get lost - so maybe you should allow yourself about a year. At least.

There are large breaks in the wall. I walked part of it last week and it can be really hard going. I would give myself over a year to do it and a year and a half to really enjoy it. I love the Great Wall. China should be so proud at this magnificent accomplishment.

Well if you were in very good shape you could probebly walk 20k a day which (estimating that the great wall of China is about 6000k long) it would take aprox 300 days. but then again i've never been the best at geography

well being the fact is is almost 4,000 miles long I would say if you walk 5 miles per hour and walked for 8 hours a day, it would take 100 days.
Now, calculate that some of it is uphill, you would maybe slow your pace. Add to that all your pee breaks and Taco Bell stops......I would estimate 165 days.

It was done recently by two guys (for charity or something) and took them something like 103 days - don't quote me on that figure tho, can't remember EXACTLY. Saw it on TV. It's less than 120 days. They are very fit tho...

as its about 4,000 miles, it depends on how fast you walk!!
The Marie Curie Foundation trekkers did it in around 27 hours, over a few days.
