ptrigyium ? i have to have that but not like for at least 5 years....something just started growing in my eye or something, the optician said it was like a bit of skin....i was trying to get more information out of him but he wasnt really helpful.....does anyone know anything about this or what else i could do other than surgery in my eye while im awake :(

Pterygium is a not uncommon problem with part of the conjunctiva growing onto the cornea. If it affects your sight then surgery can remove it, if sight is ok, then leave it alone.

Many people with pterygium will go all their life without needing the surgery.
