Sorry but the preiovus writer is wrong. The estate is responsible for all debts of a deceased person. If there is no money or the estate is bankrupt then the medical bills can not be charged to you.

Unless of course you did the wrong thing and filed for Guardianship of your ill parent.

i would have to say no. When my mom passed, I know all of her credit cards and stuff were pretty much just a lost to those companies. My mother did not have any savings an estate or other vaulable things.
Now this may be differnt if your mother has a large estate with lots of savings and stuff like that. You may have to pay off things before you get your inhertence. I would talk to a lawyer.
sorry to hear about your parents recent departure. It is very hard to loose a parent no matter how old u are.

Absolutely NOT, only the living spouse is responsible. If the spouse is also deceased the company has to accept they will never be paid period. Estate are those people who are rich us normal people do not have an estate. The children are not responbile, I work for a Law firm, if in dought contact a lawyer for advise.

the mother and dad are to blame in the event that they agreed to think of accountability. do no longer permit any sequence employer trick you into paying with that dodgy excuse. It happens on a daily basis. you're in no thank you to blame for the money owed of a ineffective man or woman until you legally obligated your self to pay them.
