Hello. Firstly, you are in a great position to help others. I would look into my heart and feel what means something to you.
You are more likely to put your energy and self into something that has meaning to you.
Do you have a "thing" to help children, woman, animals, overseas charities.
Do you want to be hands on.
Do you want to help with money, time or energy.
Make some lists of things that interest you.
Do you want to be a volunteer.
Allow also for the answer to come from outside of yourself. A song, a movie, a person you meet, a conversation, something in print. Be open.
Be sincere. It will come.
Take a moment and feel what you have a passion for.
Happy helping.

If you live in or near a city with a hospital that has a neo-natal intensive care unit I would highly recommend being a volunteer baby rocker.

The tiny infants need human contact, cuddling, rocking and such. The nursing staff doesn't have time to do this much and still provide their specialized services to the other infants in the unit.

Parents of the infants often don't have the ability to be with their baby as much as the baby needs either from medical or other reasons. At any rate, for an infant to thrive, especially one needing the intensive care unit, they desperately need that human interaction.

The nice thing is you can give as much or little time as you want and the rewards can be tremendous.
