Are they really trying to bring us a message of peace?

I distinctly saw a peace sign in the smoke above one truck bomb in a market. I guess people missed it because of the hundreds of bodies. Geez, I mean you have to put it somewhere it will be seen, right?

I think we frequently do take suicide bombings out of context, but I don't think the real context suggests that they want peace. I'd like to think this question wasn't even serious.

When I say out of context, I'm objecting to claims like:
They're out to kill Christians
They're crazy
Islam is about violence
They hate freedom
etc.

No, but we're taking them completely out of proportion
(Unless you are in Iraq)

Motorists killed over 42,000 Americans last year.
Giving the terrorists disproportionate headlines is just handing over one more victory.
In a democracy, why let a tiny minority set the agenda?

But, to your theme. Yes it is a sort of message about peace: they think they will only accept peace on their minority faction's terms. They will fail.

I'm from the other side .... from the lands of suicide bombers ........ can you tell me what message you are trying to bring us here ......
your soldiers never wear a bombing built they never became a suicide bombers .....
your soldiers there are much civilized than my people here .........
your soldiers killed more than 700 000 innocent Iraqi people for a false war .... for oil mainly .....
your soldiers raped thousands of Iraqi women's ....
they abused thousands of innocent Iraqi prisoners ....
they killed thousands of Iraqi children's .... or made them orphans by killing their parents ....
your soldiers bombed cities and knocked them down over the head of civilians .......
what's the message here .... is it to spread USA democracy ......
to protect Iraqis from Saddam Husein .....
I'm just curries
i don't stand with killing innocent people
my religion too .....
i wonder if you are in the other side what will your question be ?

Oh of course. What better way to convey a message of peace than to blow innocent people to smithereens.... Come on.

i dont think the suicide bombings are a result of religion but rather of a message to this world that something is wrong with the treatment of that population... ie. iraqi and palestinians...

it is still very wrong though.... but think of the monks who set themselves on fire in vietnam... any connection yet..
