Now that we know how you feel...

I believe in God because I cannot perceive of a world as ordered and precise and beautiful, even despite and because of its randomness, without keeping in mind a Creator.

I believe in God because I cannot find a rational root for human ethics without a Ruler.

I believe in God because I see the nature of evil and cannot perceive of an escape without a Savior.

I believe in God, and I read Scripture, and I read the history of Early Fathers and the Catechism and in there I find truth in which to seek comfort, shelter and a guide to how to live my life.

I believe in God, and I trust in Him and seek eternal life with Him.

I believe in God, because even if everything in the history of Christendom is in total error, and if at the end of life there is only infinite darkness and silence while memories fade, then at least I hold onto comfort through my life and into my last moments, trusting in Him, rather than fearing that the end of life is the end of everything.

I personally don't think the word believe is the best word to use. When we use the word "believe," we inevitably talk about the idea of Jesus literally making a blind man see, or Jesus literally changing water into wine.

The better question, to me, is "Why do I have faith in God." I find that I have no choice. The still, small voice of God has been within in for as long as I can remember. And it is a voice that responds to my yearnings and fears, and encourages me to love others and myself.

Is God literally a man in the sky? Did God part the Red Sea? I don't know, but maybe these aren't the most important questions. Perhaps the focus should not be on literal interpretation, but rather what these stories mean, and how they might affect our hearts.

Certainly Jesus has allowed me to see the world differently. It is my faith in Jesus that matters most.

Why don't you believe? There is are so many people and we all have innate belief in a higher power or supreme being. When you look at nature, children, the world and all that has been designed and completed in it, when you look at the sun, moon and stars, the water, the fish the animals, somone made it - now for you it doesn't have to be Jesus, but for me and his word, I believe he existed, that he came to save the world and not condemn it, that he made a blind man see, a leper clean, a man with palsy walk, and a dead man he brought back to life. I believe he die for my sins and yours, and that if he had to do it all over again he will.

I rather live my life beliving in GOD and die and find out that he doesn't exist than to belive that he doesn't exist and die and find out that he does exist. Because there is something after this life - death all of it ceases and where do we go from here - somewhere called hell with the fire and gnashing of teeth for the unbelivers and heaven for those who believe.

Just me personally.

I believe in GOD because there are too many things that the Bible and Christianity can explain in the world that cannot be explained by humanity or science.

I don't understand why it is such a difficult thing to accept and believe in something larger than yourself; something that is a quantum leap beyond the realm of the five senses.

Not everything in the world is physically tangible. How do you quantify love for example? You can't. The same goes for anger, hate, sadness, and all of the other feelings out there. Faith is the same way.

I believe in God. God exists if one belive in Him or not. God did give man enough brain to know Him through the wonders of His creations. A great painting tells you about the artist behind it. Nature is nothing but God's art work. Everything is created so beautifully and in wonder. When we take cells for the wonder of His creation, the design of a single atom is more wonderful. What makes people have wrong idea is the concept of God in them. They imagine God to be something that people make idols and worship. God is unseen, He is One and above all. He alone is the creator and everything else are His creations. Jesus Christ was a messenger of God who did all miracles by the will of God Almighty. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.-(JOHN 5:30-31).

I see the higher self within us all as God . Man himself is an emerging God in the making and is evolving out a set plan and that is the manifesting the love nature of the solar logos of our system.

It takes more "faith" to be an atheist than a believer. Faith is required no matter your worldview.

Can life come from non-life?
Can something come from nothing?

Even in today's highly technical and scientific world, these things can't be replicated in a lab. How much more faith does it take to believe that "all that is" came from absolutely nothing?

I don't believe it or belive it.

Edit: Sorry, spelling is not a big deal as long as we understand each other. I agree, it's a bunch of rubbish.

I Believe in God because I can feel "its" presence inside me..
I wouldn't really follow what any religion has to say, they Take God and turn it into something boring and full of rules
