I am 19 and my height is 5'4" (160 cms).My wight is 60 kgs.All my friends and family tease me that I'm too stout to be n need to reduce.Am I really over weight?Even I think I shud get slimmer speacially my belly and thighs.Can you help me please?

Figure out whatever amount of calories you're eating per day now, and cut it in half. You can do this by cutting out junk food and soda entirely, reducing your portions, and eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. I guarantee you'll lose weight -- as long as you're honest about what you eat. Exercise should aslo be part of any dietary regime.

Unless you've left something out, you are right on target for your height and weight BMI wise.
Losing about 10 kgs would put you at borderline unhealthy thin, so if you REALLY think you need to lose weight, try adding more exercise to your daily routine and eating better. But really, you're FINE the way you are.

it does not say if you are a girl or boy, but anyway if you are a boy you are ok,. for a girl also is ok but normaly they say 10kg less then your height which is 160 cm,
I think the other people didn't realize that you explain more the european style then the US style , where you were supoused to say that your weight is 60kg= 132 pounds and tall 5'4''=160 cms.
You should do some sport, not to eat after 7pm and cut off the bread and swits :)

well if u think u need to lose weight then try jogging. if u r out of shape don't worry about it. start off by doing short distances and eat the foods u like but only moderate amounts. for ur belly try doing situps. do like 50 a day. i lost 15 lbs through these methods so give it a try. good luck!

think ahead to how youll eat and exercise on the weekends its easy to get too relaxed on saturdays and sundays but healthy living is a 7 day a week endeavor
