War is a major source of employment for millions of people around the globe. Every soldiers has got a uniform, someone has got to make that. Likewise the weapons and the ammo. Everything on down to the tunic buttons, gotta be made by some one.
War = employment.
War = death.
War = liberty, freedom and democracy.
"Only the dead shall now and end of war".
The Democrat Republic of the City of Athens was founded on war. It voted to go to war every other year. Good for them. War works.

1. medical advances: LIKE IT OR NOT every time we have a war, we have a great advance in medicine
2. controls population, no offence but if it werent for the second world war who knows what wouldve of happened we might still be in the great depression today
3. technology advances: even the cold war boosted our technology advances and thanks to the 2nd world war and the cold war weve got the item we use today bad or good they moist likely came from a war
4. benefits economy some nations economy growth: a war would help a nation that makes and sells weapons

Then theres all the pundits.
And not forgetting all the developers who rebuild afterwards.
