Safe to take a peanut-allergic child to a major league baseball game? Anyone with pers. experience?

Peanuts in the shell cause nut proteins to go airborne. Will wearing a face mask be protective? Son is 7 and agrees to wear one in order to see a game...

i think it's best to talk to his allergist. i work with a boy with SEVERE peanut and bean allergies. to the point that we carry an epipen where ever he is. i know he could not attend a ballgame but, if you have a pen and a mask, the doc may okay it.

He might be safe if he wears a mask. If he needs the epi pen make sure you take it with you.
