Turkey offers certain advantages over chicken. It is around 20 percent lower in calories and 75 percent lower in fat. Turkey is rich in niacin, with 7 milligrams in a 31/2 ounce serving (33 percent of RDA), though this is half the amount in chicken. Turkey contains more zinc and iron and slightly more vitamin E. Three-and-half ounces of turkey breast contain a paltry one gram of fat. Ground turkey patties are a healthy alternative to beef burgers.

As with most things cheese is both good and bad for you. Of course eating mass amounts of anything is bad for you in some way; even ingesting too much water can have negative effects on someone. Cheese has some very good things in it, calcium, phosphorus, protein, riboflavin, zinc, and vitamin B12. Cheese also has quite a bit of fat in it, which can lead to weight problems, high cholesterol, among other dangers. Overall it can be very good for you if you eat the proper amount, which is about one or two ounces a day.
