Okay.. I have double eyelids and they are annoying me. I'm a really energetic person, and I like to be energetic but the creases make me look like a really sleepy person.. Everyone says they're great but I can't look myself in the mirror bc that's not me. Is there a way to make my double eyelids less obvious? I don't want to have surgery or anything.. Thanks ^^

LOL will you guys think/do a little research even a little bit before answering? Btw, I'm still 16, there's no way for me to have droopy eyes by "age" lol

Ok sorry.. but I have to say this! I'm just sooo tired of those darned people who don't think before they answer and who give irrelevant answers as if they are serious and act as if they know everything. And when I say this to them they act like they know nothing and just ignore what I just say and argue that they are just "trying to help." Well yeah, sorry I know I might be being really rude but that's the truth of what I'm feeling and I'm sure those people won't understand it bc they are darned robots, but still, it kind of clears my head so I'm feeling fine now lol

Age doesn't have anything to do with it! You would be surprised how many people have that bit of extra skin that makes them self-conscious about their eyes. I would contact an Ophthamologist if you're really worried or if you feel that it is affecting your vision. Most insurance companies will cover eyelid injections (like botox) if your creases decrease your vision. Doctors will use a very boring, but painless test, called a visual fields to see if it affects your vision.

I've also heard that cosmetics can help....try going to a department store like Macy's and hitting the cosmetic's counter. The reps there should be able to have a few eye shadow tricks to help. I was once told that putting a darker shade of eyeshadow on your outter eye then a lighter shade on your inner lid makes your eyes appear wider and the creases less noticeable.

Good luck!

Not sure what you mean by "double eyelids". Are they droopy? Folding on themselves?

Unfortunately, if your lids have started to droop and wrinkle with age, cosmetic surgery is the only solution.
