Bree, I do not know how old you are, but if you go to school go to a teacher or counselor and tell them. By law they have to make a report. Where is your mother? There is an 800 number in your local phone book for domestic violence, what your dad is doing is a felony, you can not hit spouses, kids,he is a bully for doing so, do not be afraid to call the cops on him, he may tell you some awful lies about the police and welfare people taking you away, but at least you would not be hit all the time......

Talk to your teacher, counselor, police officer, or call the Child and Family Services office listed in your local phone book. Even if he doesn't leave bruises, there should be an investigation.

If youre being abused, you should report it to someone you trust. Just because it doesnt leave bruises doesnt mean it shouldnt count. Take care and good luck

what did you do to make him hit you even though he should never hit but if he is not leaving bruises then there is nothin you can do. there has got to be more to this story.

what everyone is saying is messed up. what you need to do is talk with your dad, find out why he hits you. my dad used to hit me, and im now a great person. i honestly think if he wouldnt of done it i would end up like my cousin, dead cause of gang violence. parents think they know whats best for their kids, and 90% of the time there right. dont take it seriously, it hurts him more when he hits you-even if you cant tell. my dad still apologizes for all the times he hit me, with tears in his eyes. i dont blame him whatsoever.

people are saying "call the cops"
you should know that there is a chance that your dad will find out that it was you that called the cops. The best way to call is on a pre-pay phone that is not linked to you. you can buy them just about everywhere.
but still CALL THE COPS!!

is he really hitting you or spanking you, there is a drifference,but if he is just hitting you for no reason then i would go tell someone.he may have a problem knowing how to get on to you or he needs parenting classes if hes really hurting you then go seek help.....good luck

call the cops immediately after there will at least be red marks to prove you've been hit
