I have Two Granddaughters that are picky eaters, but this makes them sit at the table every time and it's so simple.
Marinade Talipia in Garlic and any kind of Italian dressing,2-4 hours( I prefer it overnite).
Bake at 350 for 20 min. Until fish is flaky, it has a great taste.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
INGREDIENTS

* 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
* 1/4 cup butter, softened
* 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
* 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
* 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
* 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
* 2 pounds tilapia fillets

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat your oven's broiler. Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
3. Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to over cook the fish.

I sometimes deep fry my tilapia. I'm sorry I dont have exact measurements.

Deep Fried Tilapia

Ingredients:
Tilapia Filets
Lemon Pepper Seasoning
Old bay seasoning
Canola Cooking Oil
Yellow Corn Meal (Self-rising)

1.) After fish filets are rinsed with cold water thoroughly, lie flat on a shallow baking/dish pan. 2.) Season filets on both sides by sprinkling Old Bay Seasoning first, followed by sprinkling Lemon Pepper Seasoning. 3.) Pour 1/2 cup of Yellow Corn Meal, per each two filets, into a ziplock bag and shake until filets are entirely covered. 4.) Cooking oil should be hot and tested to see if ready by sprinkling one or two drops of water to get a pop. 5.) Filets may then be put into skillet and fried evenly til both sides are golden brown.

I just had some recently...I baked it in the toaster oven..covered so it won't dry out. I used one of my favorite marinades. Since it is such a mild fish, you can use any marinade with it: fruity, spicy, soy sauce, mesquite, etc. I cooked about 2 inches thick for about 30 min on 350 degrees. It was tasty.

It's a white fish. I just cover it with bread crumbs and bake it in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.

Talapia is super versatile (and sustainable) and recipes for "white fish" will work well in fact it is a perfect substitute for Sea Bass in any recipe calling for it you can substitute Talapia with great results! You can make fish tacos, soup, and tons more - just go to allrecipes.com or recipezarr.com and type in white fish. Good Luck!

It is best deep fried to a crisp. Clean it well & marinate it in salt & lemon first (to remove the fishy smell) for at least 30 minutes before frying. Yummy!

we love Tilapia broiled. Spray the broiler, and the fish lightly with cooking spay, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. You won't need to turn it since it is quite thin. Just don't overcook it, and it will be nice and juicy. (about 5 minutes total)
