I'm 18 and considering getting a job working for a company that installs air conditioning. My dad is freaking out that I won't stick with it and stuff but I really want somebody else's opinion/expierience. The pay is great and so are the benefits. Is it hard work?

Crawling around in hot attics will work any fat off of you. Crawling under homes in mucky dirt will cure you of claustrophobia. Lifting heavy objects will build muscles. You will learn an art that will be in greater demand as the EPA forces us to reclaim freon.

It is great work if you can learn it and deal with profuse sweating in the summertime in cramp blazing hot, fiberglass filled attics.
