An ejection pew that launches someone out the roof of the church, or a trap door that drops someone onto an underground slide ? Both would safely place the person in a rejection bin lined with foam. I am starting to think that a trap door would work much better since the person being rejected would not have to fly through the air - which would be dangerous. I don't want to get sued, I just want to be able to get rid undesireables easily without too much drama. The tough part of either design is that I do not know where these people might be sitting in the church, so I have to install these mechanisms everywhere... actually I take that back. They always seem to sit in the last few rows so that will make it easier.

Any ideas?

If I do not seem humble or you think I act "holier than thou" it is because I am better than you. I am an Aaronic Priest. The priesthood is the eternal power and authority of God. Through the priesthood God created and governs the heavens and the earth. Through this power He redeems and exalts His children, bringing to pass "the immortality and eternal life of man" (Moses 1:39). God gives priesthood authority to worthy male members of the Church so they can act in His name for the salvation of His children. Priesthood holders can be authorized to preach the gospel, administer the ordinances of salvation, and govern the kingdom of God on the earth.

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Aaronic Priesthood has taken on a role as a source of training, leadership and service for adolescent boys and new converts. It is often called a "preparatory priesthood." Holders of the Aaronic priesthood whom the church considers worthy are advanced to an office in the Melchizedek priesthood as a matter of course around the age of 18, or in the case of adult converts, after approximately a year of active church membership.

The Aaronic priesthood is open only to men and boys, twelve years old or older, who are considered worthy after a personal interview with a local bishop. Requirements for worthiness include abstaining from certain sexual practices, following the Word of Wisdom (a Mormon health code), and attending church services.

You have got to be kidding! What undesirables? Do you have hecklers or snorers in your church? What is your beef with them? You could just put a 'keep out' sign on your door that lists the qualities of the undesirables or make a huge announcement at the beginning describing which ones must leave. Make sure nobody thinks that you have a welcoming church as it only welcomes certain people. Good thing you're joking because otherwise, you're scaring me. Remember that excluding certain people is not something Jesus would do.

A church gets rid of who they deem as undesirable by shunning them and keeping them outside the fold.

There are no mechanics or mechanisms required to attain this end.

Making someone feel unwelcome in a church environment is a sure way to force departure.

How about something like a dump truck style, where the pew would lift up at one end and they could slide out a window placed conveniently next to the pew?

That way you would only need to install some hydraulic lift system which should be way cheaper than digging a tunnel and installing the whole trap door mechanism. You could do this for every pew and then just push the buttons of which pews you want dumped.

If you want to rid the building of the undesirables that come there, you would have to start with yourself. It is much easier just to walk out the door.

Luckily, Jesus Christ did not feel that way, he looked for the undesriables and befriended them and showed them the way to follow him and have everlasting life.

Being , that I have been given the choice, I choose to follow Jesus with every bit of my undesirability, thankfully , he chose me, so that I could choose him. If I had chosen to follow you, I know I would eventually end up in one of those back pews!!

Who are you to decide what is undesirable. It is not for you to judge and they have every right to be there as you do. If you don't like it go to another church. If it is your church and you are judging like this, you are in the WRONG line of work. sounds like you are possibly the undesirable. This is the problem with stereotypes and religion, those like yourself who claim to be so holly and praise yourself for going to church, but you turn out to be the biggest hypocrite of them all, sitting there full of hate and judging. Obviously you aren't focusing on your lessons at church. You ideas are plain ugly likewise with your attitude!!!!!!!

well. you could excavate under the church and create a huge room lined with foam and bibles(the bibles are for people to read.). Then make trap doors for each seat, all hooked up to pneumatic actuators which can make the door open. Hook all that to a large control panel and let the smiting begin.

"What would the best way for my church to get rid of undesirables? "

Pray for them to repent and turn back towards God. Treat them with love and compassion so they mayknow God.

actually it would be impossible for you to be an Aaronic priest since the priesthood was finished by Jesus.
["If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come—one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law. He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, and no one from that tribe has ever served at the altar. For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. And what we have said is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, one who has become a priest not on the basis of a regulation as to his ancestry but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life. For it is declared:"You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.
The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.
And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever.' "Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
Such a high priest meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever."]
[Hebrews 7: 11-28]

Well, now we know why the LDS church is a false religion. Thanks for clearing that up.
