Sorry to tell you this, but it's not going to happen. There's no such thing as "immediate" weight loss and anything quick is not healthy. If you want to lose weight, why not do it to make a lifestyle change instead of looking for a short term quick fix. It's much safer and worth not risking your health. 5 weeks is a good amount of time to get started though, and who knows? If you get started now, make sure you drink at least half your weight in ounces of water a day, you may drop a few lbs (or kilos) by then because you will be ridding yourself of excess water that you're holding on to. You'd be surprised at what you can do in 5 weeks by eating a healthy, balanced diet of no less than 1200 calories a day, and exercising.

Try and fill up on veg, drink LOTS of water and take a good brisk walk everyday. Even if it's just a short one ( 15-20 min ), you gotta get that heart rate up to drop weight.
This isn't something I could ever do long term ( I love meat and have no idea how people can be vegetarians ) but it usually works to drop a quick size or 2.

the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you take in, try this
20 minutes before you eat mix 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar a teaspoon clover honey and enough water to dilute it so it wont have the vinegar taste. drink that 20 minutes before you eat every time you eat. its normally takes a few weeks to start noticing but then the weight comes off rather quickly. reason is the vinegar eats upthe calories you will not have to modify your diet

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

for the short term, Slim Fast or some liquid diet is fine. it's not good for a long term weight loss program.
