Check with the County you are getting married in. Its usually not that much. Its actually fun to go and do with your fiance.

It varies by state but the average cost in America is $50. Most are $50 some $45 and some $40. I would bring cash since most only accept cash.

It will cost me $40.00 New Rochelle NY - they say it will take about 1/2 to get it...you can call Cty Hall and speak with the city cl;erk they are the ones that will issue it...there is a lot of paperwork that you will need so i suggest that you call first and have them tell you what is needed. ours in mississippi was $22 plus we had to pay for blood tests which were $27 each. It does vary from state to state, so call the courthouse that serves the area where you'll get married and find out for sure....they can tell you easily anything you need to have done and time frames and things like that!

In Delaware it is $35 if one of you is a state resident and $50 otherwise. They only take cash.

Call your city clerks office. It varies from state to state I'm sure. In Arkansas it's $35.00
