The best way to lose weight is doing exercise.

The best type of exercise for weight loss is something you ENJOY DOING and are likely to continue doing - not just while losing weight but also as you maintain weight in the long term.

Your initial fitness goal should be to do 30 minutes of exercise each day. Thereafter, gradually increase this (ideally) to about 60 minutes of exercise per day.

The best combination of exercise is a mixture of aerobic and weight/strength training (and stretching). Aerobic and weight/strength training exercises both assist weight loss but in different ways.

It can help you, but you really don't need any more than 60 minutes of exercise a day. If you're exercising for 2 hours every day it could become counterproductive if you're not eating properly for this amount of exercise. If it's 2 hours of cardio every day then what you'll end up losing is muscle. Make sure you're combining aerobic and weight training to keep your muscle as well which will help you burn fat.

YES...BUT...

You need to work your way up to it. Start off at 30 mins/day, then 45, then 60, then 90, then 2hrs.

If you just jump into 2hrs/day, I can guarantee you that you'd get sore after like 5 days and then won't be able to workout for a few days, which totally defeats the purpose of doubling your exercise.

So do take it a bit slow. Soak in epson salt baths at night to help relieve pain. Make sure to have proper form and proper shoes in whatever you do to make sure you don't get knee or any joint problems.

Also, change your routine every 2 weeks. If you normally run and bike, change it to swimming and kickboxing, etc. Because it won't take long for your body to get used to the routine and weight loss will slow down.

ALSO, make sure you are doing maybe pilates or yoga to help tone your body. Because if you do lose weight a bit fast, you're more prone to loose skin. So becareful of that. If you're losing weight too fast, you need to slow it down and cut back or else you'll get the loose skin.

Make sure you eat a clean diet. Especially if you only have like 5-15 pounds left to lose, because most likely those won't come off without a clean diet. And by that I don't mean diet as in cutting back on food, I just mean eat regularly, but eat fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, water, lean meats, nuts, whole grains, etc.

EDIT: Make sure when you exercise that your heart rate is at it's 65% max. This area is considered aerobic cardio and is best for burning fat. To find your 65% max, take 220 minus your age and then multiply that by 0.65. If your heart rate goes to high, your exercise is anaerobic (lacks oxygen) and you'll burn less fat, HOWEVER, that's good for endurance/athletic training. So make sure during your workout to always check your heart rate (just take a 10 second count and multiply by 6) and make sure it's at the proper level.

Yes, but too much exercise at once is not very good for you. You might get health issues, or strain/sprain a muscle. Start with half an hour and do it every day or every other day. As long as you do it continuously, you will see MAJOR results. Good Luck!

It depends on if you are doing this daily or every now and then. You don't necessarily have to do 2 hours...may I suggest 30 - 60 minutes everyday, if you really want to lose weight? Try to reduce your calorie and sugar intake, drink plenty of water/fluids (limit carbonated - pop, coffee, etc.) and you should be good.
