I have a bear that my son "dresses" it has shorts, button top and socks.. He knows the names of everything.. I also leave his clothes out on his bed and sometimes he'll try and dress himself.. He ask for help if he gets his leg(s) stuck in a pant/short hole.. .He's 3..

First, remember that if he can get dressed he can get undressed., not necessarily a good thing. Give him pants with an elastic waist and shirts that have large neck openings. Get him a teddy bear to dress. Do not expect him to do anything complicated like buttons or socks. I

Give him pants, then you get a bigger pair of pants for yourself or just use the ones you have and start puting them on while looking at him, then point to his pants, and lead him in how to put them on. you'll have to take the pants you just put on and put them on again so he'll begin to understand the picture. Immediately reward him when he puts his pants on. Laughing, gigglying, and playing are good indicators that you're pleased with him. Do it as a routine at the same time each day. It will stick throughout time.

well, not sure if you mean he can do it but wont. if so, what i do eith my daughter is say " i bet i can get dressed faster than you. i run to my room and dress slowly till she runs in dresses and screams "i won" . every once in a while i beat her, just to keep her on her toes! good luck

put clothes in front of him get 2 pairs of clothes that (would match all together)and hell like them
