your bananas have to be over ripe to the point where you usually throw them out . heres my moms cake recipe. its tried and true . Beat 2 eggs in mixing bowl, add 1 tsp vanilla ,1/2 c butter or marg.,and beat ,add 1 c white sugar and beat, add 2 large or 3 small over ripe bananas and beat... add slowly 2c all-purpose flour, 1Tbsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and mix on slow with mixer.blend in 1c of sour cream. [if you dont have sour cream add tsp vinegar to 3/4 c of milk before you start mixing your ingredients together]..... pre-heat oven to 350degreesF . grease large cake pan or 2 layer pans with shortening ,coat pans with flour then shake out excess. fill pans and bake for 3/4 hour. test middle of cake with a toothpick. if it comes out clean its done. if not cook 5min. more and test again till its done.

I agree with the last respondant and I am a former chef, I put my really ripe bananas in a Ziplok bag and freeze them the when you want them just defrost, mash and away you go, and when there cheap in the summer, buy lots, mash them add a bit of lemon juice and freeze bags of them, there good in banana bread, pancakes, as a fat substitute in other baking and make great smoothies, I have even gone to Dollar stores here in Canada, you have them there called DollarBarn, and bought ice cube trays, I do this for bananas and stocks, freeze them in the trays, pop them out put them in a large bag and use them one at a time for cooking or protein shakes, saves defrosting a whole bag, get the zipper ones at the DollarBarn and make big ones for baking and smaller for other recipes.

I don't know exactly what you're asking. It sounds like poppy seeds. The seeds are small, black and flavorful. If you add poppy seeds, they will spread evenly throughout the batter/cake. Poppy seeds are with the spices. It compliments banana, lemon, plain, and vanilla cake and muffin recipes- just add a tablespoon to 1/4 cup and mix well.

Use black walnuts and you will have chunks of bananas that will turn brownish when baked.
