Catholics OR Christians? You DO understand that Catholicism is one of the many sects of Christianity, do you not? Along with Baptists, Protestants, 7th Day Adventists, etc?

Out of my doubts my faith grows stronger. When there is something I do not understand or have reservations about; I study it more and my faith ends up even stronger.
I am sure you have already been made aware that Catholics are a subset of Christians.

Catholics ARE Christian -- we worship Christ and follow Him.
I don't doubt Jesus because I have evidence in my life that (a) proves to me that He is real and (b) proves to me that He wants to interact with me.
Whenever I start doubting, I just think back on those things and it renews my faith.

Remembering what He did for me. Remembering the blessings in my life. Knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel. Telling Satan to go away helps too. :)

Wow...good question....I experience His love and power everyday. I wasn't raised to have a true relationship with Christ. I wasn't your typical "church girl." So saying that I was raised or brainwashed to believe in Jesus is not the case for me. I will try to make this a short as I can. I was molested and suffered from rejection as a child. This resulted in me turning to bad relationships with men and woman...doing things that I regret today. About 7 years ago....I got tired of battling depression, hurt, rejection, and the feelings of molestation. I remembered the day when I was first introduced to Jesus (at one of my friends church). I began to feel a tug in my heart to pray and read the bible. I began to pray and call on the name of Jesus (His name is powerful) and I began to feel His presence in the room with me. I have never felt so much love before. I asked God to forgive me of all of my sins....to cleanse me and make me whiter than snow. He did just that. He took the stain of sin and the guilt away. I started attending church. This is where I learned how to deepen my relationship with Christ thru worship, praise, thanksgiving, and obedience. I was taught how to love others inspite of what they have done to me. I was taught how to deal with my past and learned how to move forward toward my future. I was taught that I was the head and not the tail. That I was the apple of God's eye. I can't express how much I am so greatful to God for opening my eyes to see that there is life after death (spiritually I was dead, miserable). Instead of turning to drugs and lying in the bed with some man that didn't love me or care about me, I turned to JESUS who loves me unconditionally. When I open my bible...I am taught a new lesson on life everyday and how to overcome life obstacles. Eventhough I was born in sin, He still loved me enough to open my eyes to see the truth about me!! I am a Queen and I deserve to be treated like one! I pray to God everyday...that someone's life is touched and changed by the life I live for Him (Jesus)!! I also pray that you experience the love that Jesus has to offer you.....believe me...your life will never be the same! Try Him!!
Also remember.....this transformation didn't happen over night....it took time...the more I committed myself to God and read His Word...the more I began to see the Jewel inside!!
Many Blessings to you!!
