Use heat on the affected area and take something like Motrin or Advil. If the pain persists, you might want to have the area looked at by a doctor in case it's not just a pulled muscle. Good luck!

Epsom salt works wonders. Draw up a medium hot bath and when the water is still running, put about a cup of epsom salt (sold almost everywhere in the bath section) and let it mix with the water and soak in it for about half an hour 45 minutes. When you get out, dry off and put some icy hot or ben gay on it, take an asprin, and just relax. Do some stretches of the muscle when your lying down or ask someone to do it.

I was in tae kwon do for 8 years and trust me, that was my routine almost weekly!

Stretch and massage the muscle. Warm baths help. If it's that painful you should stay off of it for a bit. Try an over the counter pain reliever such as Advil or Aleve. That will reduce the swelling and relieve a bit of the pain. Feel better!

heat for 15 minutes... ice for 15 minutes... also stretching a lot. If you do the same workout everday it will make it go away. Have you ever heard of walking it off? That helps a lot as long as your take things slowly. Biofreeze is a great cream to help the pain subside many doctors offices sell it and it's like ben gay but it doesn't smell and it doesn't have the burning. also potatssium & protein bannanas beans etc to help the muscle! and lots of water.
