I desperately need to vacumn the spiderwebs and dust in my unfinished basement, anyone know where they still rent shop vacs and is this the easiest way to do the job? There isn't a ceiling in the basement (exposed beams & plumbing), so it's a constant battle with the "webs" each time I go down to do the laundry. I am a cleaning fanatic, except down in the "dungeon".

The best idea would be to go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a small shop vac for $30. The webs will be back next week and you will have to keep shelling out money so I would purchase rather than rent something that personal. Besides they come in very handy in most mess emergencies.

Shop vac's aren't that expensive.. Maybe $30.. Just buy one that way you have it when you want it.... Try Sears, Home Depot, Target... I use mine to vacuum spiders and the furniture..
