If you are really feeling a specific religion, go for it & learn more about it.

Don't act like religion is some sort of social clique like in school, because it's not. People take their religions very seriously so don't mess around with it.

Personally, I'd recommend you learn about different religions & just stay open-minded. You don't need to pick one. I was brought up as a Roman Catholic & now I'm Agnostic (meaning I don't believe in any God(s), but neither do I deny the existence of any God(s) whatsoever).

If you really want to join a religion, do some research - which can be boring. Buddhism - most peaceful religion out of them all, Catholicism - teaches you how to basically live a good life so that you'll be accepted into heaven, those are the religions I know more about and the most important thing is that it's your choice whether to join or not to join a religion.

Joining a religion is a major task, but don't go to the churches or the Muslim clerics for help. Instead, read the scriptures of the major religions with a open mind: Al-Quran (Islam), Bible (Christianity), Jewish scriptures etc.

If you plan to do so, you can contact me anytime if you find anything confusing in the Al-Quran or in Islam.

Thank you for asking such an interesting question.
I thought really hard about the best way I could answer this that may help you in your search .
Have you asked your self, What "religion" best suites my personality, my belief systems?
What do you want to recieve or give inside a religion?
Do you want structure, order,(ie: Cath.), or unconventional services(ie Non denominational).
A church is the sum of it's people, a religion is the action the church takes, and faith is the relationship you share with your God.
Look inside yourself, in your heart, listen to it. you will never go wrong.
I hope I have helped in some way.
Good luck in Your Quest, and God Bless.

You ask that question in here?

Good luck.

We need more info. What sorts of things do you believe now? How do you feel about morality? What do you feel about the origins of the universe?

Do you think there is a supreme being?

Do you think there is nothing more than what is in front of you?

Do you think happens when you die?

Providing answers may provide us with some insight on what to tell you.

If it were me well I'd say give christianity a try, but that's me, a christian.

Don't join a religion. Search for Truth, but be careful not to be decieved.

You should talk to some missionary's they are thew ones that always try to convince toy to join a religion. Keep this in mind though, you don't have to be religious it's perfectly fine not to be.

All so-called 'Christian' religions are basically the same.
They all teach immortal soul, trinity, hell-fire, etc.
Being the case, it doesn't matter much which one you choose.
The only Christian religion that is different are Jehovah's Witnesses.
You might want to find out why they are different.

I think you should join Christianity. I've said what I want to say three times, so I'll copy and paste... one second...
Jesus is the only Philosopher who gave the Kingdom to the fools. Jesus forgave sins and forgave the man who was dieing and could do no more deeds. I propose that Christianity is the way because it is preposterous!!! :D (that isn't a joke. seriously. read Dangerous Wonder by Mike Yaconelli)
