So, we are throwing a surprise birthday party for my great-grandmother. She is turning 80 years old. My boyfriend plays guitar and I sing, and for her present we wanted to do something along with that. We have absolutly no idea what to do. So, I really need your help. Artist and Song titles please and if you can tabs on guitar for the song, if not thats allright (we can find them). Please be aware that she is 80 and nothing inappropriate, something sweet. =] Thanks!

Your Great grandmother is not going to remember songs from when she was born. Do you remember song from when you were born?

How about music from the year she was born, 1927? The first one that caught my eye was "Ain't She Sweet." I did a search and Wiki has a nice list of music published that year. Have a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1927_in_music.
