One day isn't that big a deal, as long as it's not longer than one day you're fine. She was prob. just really busy and didnt' get a chance, you can always call her to.

Depends on her reasons, don't asume, ask her. Maybe she was out all day, her cell phone had no battery, or she didn't have a signal, or became depressed and needed time off, I don't know, there could be a million reasons.
