When you say fighting, are they calling each other horrible names, throwing things, or hitting each other?

If it is violent, please go to your nearest neighbor's house and have him/her call the police.

If they are calling each other names without hitting each other, then let them know how you feel. If you feel like crying because you see them hurting each other then cry and let them know it hurts you to see the 2 people you love hurting each other.

If they are just having a heated discussion with no name calling, items being thrown, or fists flying, then let them know it upsets you to hear them disagreeing and ask that they do it outside of your presence.

Your opinions and feelings count. Sometimes parents forget that and need to be reminded. It's okay to let them know what your thoughts are - you are a part of the family and therefore, are affected by their behavior.

Good luck.

Stay out of it. You're old enough to know that. If given an opportunity you can tell them you don't like hearing them fight. But there's really nothing you can do. Turn up the radio real loud, if they yell at your for the volume level at least they'll take a break from what theyr'e doing.

Honey, I know it's rough to hear your parents fight, but it is between the two of them, not you, so you need to stay out of it and let them work it out on their own. If it's bothering you, ask if you can go to your friend's house so you don't have to listen to them. Hang in there!

And remember: it is normal for parents to fight sometimes, but it is NOT normal for them to hit each other or you! If that happens, get help!

try calming them down.maybe that would help. Then, try to analyze the cause of the problem yourself.By then, you will be able to make a fair judgement on who's right and who's wrong.

Tell them to stop....that they are driving you crazy. If that doesnt get threw to them ...you should call someone close to the family...like grandma or an uncle or aunt and see if you could stay with them

why should you do anything? it's their fight and unless it's about you, get out of the damned way before you're dragged down with them.
