the mil lamp came on,took it into garage and they replaced the exhaust recirculation valve.i've had the bill which is £250.
has anyone else had this done and do you think the price is correct?it included labour and reading the code for the fault.

The price does seem a lot to me, I'd ask several other garages how much they'd charge for the work you've had done just to see you've paid the right price for the work you've had done.

Probably not fair, but garage prices seldom are.

as with any work on any car you should have phoned round first . a mistake we all make in life. But only once!!
