I prefer to believe in Jesus because it make sme feel oh so cosy and righteous to be with a group of like mined fools on a Sunday morning when I could be in bed recovering from a hangover from hell.

Achilles is dead my friend. Jesus Christ is alive and He arose from the grave and sits at the right hand of Almighty God in heaven. Jesus is a portion of the great Godhead of our heavenly Father. Jesus just saved my grandson's life night before last as my grandson totalled his car into a tree and walked away with minor scratches.
I pray for my grandson every night. My daughter prays for him every night. You think what you want to think, but I know the power in the name of Jesus. The Lord's Word cannot change. Our heavenly Father can be trusted. When you begin to need a little confidence, call upon the Lord and ask Him to see you through. No greater friend will you ever have than your heavenly Father.

Violence is usually caused by Anger. Anger just starts and endless cycle of hatred. Didn't Achilles get shot in the foot or something anyway?

How about Jason and the Argonauts? He saved a few people. Or perhaps Hercules half-man half-god. Then I have to ask what have these people done for me lately. Not much cos they don't exist. Jesus however have been a great provider.

What has Jesus done for me lately? I don't think I have enough room to tell ya- first of all He died to save me, second of all- He is my hope, my strength, my healer, my life- I could go on and on- however the question should really be. What have we done for the one who saved us? NO you cannot be saved by works, but for those of us who are, we should be living our lives in honor of the ONE that gave His life for us. You can chose not trust Jesus - but I have chosen to, because He is trustworthy.
