Many Christian friends told me that their concept of 'God' was like flesh, soul and the spirit of man. So what happens when flesh is tortured and gets killed? Soul feels the pain and the systems stops functioning, isn't it?.
How can you explain these ideas before someone or any of the Previous Prophets that came before Jesus Christ who never even knew the concept of trinity? At least how will you explain things to an Apostle of Jesus Christ who was unaware of such complex ideas other than worshipping the One God of Prophet Abraham as Jesus Christ (pbuh) taught them? To be honest, do you not find any complication in them?

nothing happened, the christains again wrote the bible all over again one more time, after 'God' Jesus Christ died on the Cross.

the body is just a dwelling place for the soul when the body dies the soul goes back to god. in the old testament all they new was that a savior was going to come and save israel the problem is that they were looking for an earthly king not a spiritual king that would save them from their sins. the apostles new very well the concept of the trinity after pentecost they wrote about it and that is where believers in christ get the understanding from. actually there is some instance in the old testament that shows the trinity, god said let "us" create man in "our" likeness and "our" image that is plural and means more than one, there are many other passages that say how jesus and the father and spirit were in the beginning together not to mention references in the new testament.

Because Jesus was not a typical human, but God in the flesh, He would not have had a "soul." Instead, His soul was the essence of God.
And if God is as almighty as Muslims, Jews AND Christians believe He is, then there is no reason that He wouldn't be able to divide Himself. He's GOD. Our laws don't apply to Him!

the apostles were very familiar with the prophecies of the old teatament concerning the coming messiah, true, the full revealation of the triunity of god is something that is more clear to us now than then, but people all thru out time have always been saved in the same exact way, by faith, in christ
