File a financial hardship petition with the court and the will have to appoint you a lawyer... its the law. Or, plea guilty and take your punishment. Or go to trial alone.... and lose.

If this is not your first offense, expect maximum penalty.

I suggest that you ask for a continuance due to non-representation, and try to either pay your lawyer or get a Public Defender assigned your case.

Good Luck.

If you go to trial without counsel you will lose. You do not know the rules of court or of evidence and therefore you will not know how to lay the foundation or ask questions properly.

You will have to ask for a PD and prove indigence. Or contact the prosecutor and plead guilty, asking for a reductuon in fines/jail.
