If you read the biblical account of John the Baptist- you will see that this is totally untrue. He prepared the way, to introduce Jesus, as the true Messiah- one of my favorite passages in the bible about John the Baptist says- "I must decrease, and He must increase". Jesus is the Messiah- no doubt. John the Baptist taught the message of repentance, Jesus fulfilled that message.

I believe Brian is the true messiah because they say the messiah will deny he's the messiah.

No he isn't "the messiah" . He was just chosen to baptize Jesus and held the power of God which is the priesthood.

You did not listen to what he said very well did you.
He said "I am not the promised one, I am nothing more than this, a voice crying in the wilderness 'prepair for the Lord'".

I've heard that theory bounced around. I can't remember any of the details off the top of my head, but it's interesting.
