A Tee peg.

The Tee is the area that is used at the starting point of a game of Golf or subsequent hole. There are many types of Tee pegs used to raise the golf ball so that it can be driven by a club called a driver. Some are made of wood or plastic. The plastic ones sometimes have a cup that tilts as the ball is struck. There is a Tee that consists of small rubber cups of different heights, tied together with string to stop them from being lost.when struck, but when I was young it used to be a small heap of sand that was used. The modern trend is to use wooden Tee pegs as they are biodegradable.

When i made my first million, i went to buy a Rolls Royce......(before i ever played golf) and as I sat in the car in the showroom i found a tee peg on the seat. I asked what it was for...and the sales man told me that it was for placing your balls on before driving off..... Rolls Royce think of everything , don't they?
I wonder if Bentley do the same?

Those are called tees. They help when you're using your driver (the biggest club) from hitting to much of the ground when you go to hit the ball. They come in a lot of sizes, colors and designs. You even have different slots on your golf bag to put them in!

They are called tees. By USGA rules (aka golf rules) they can be a maximum of 4 inches long. Tees are made out of many different materials. Some common materials are wood and plastic. Some are even made out of corn, that way they degrade and don't harm the environment.

tee. Apparently Tiger Woods was driving in rural Ireland on the way to the K club. He stops in a garage for petrol in his big BMW and as he gets out a tee drops from his pocket.

The garage owner, an old man who did not know who Tiger was asked what he had dropped?

Tiger replied " Oh their for resting my balls on when I'm driving"

old man says "Christ! BMW think of everything don't they!"
