People spend way too much attention on brands...

Ride them both, and more than those. Pick the bike that is the best fit for your body. At the same price level, the frames are going to be probably the same aluminum, with roughly the same components.

There is more than one model for each of these bikes. You need to be more specific for a true comparison.


Jamis has a 2.0 in a few catogories and the Trek 4300 comes in different configurations.

In general, I would go with the Trek, but this is a personal preference.
