Employers vary on this. Some will pay the full day's pay for only a partial day.

If you punch a time clock, it is less likely you will receive 8 hours pay for 6 hours work.

Each employers policy varies . If you only work 6 hours every day, 5 days a week, you will prob. only get 6 hours of holiday pay for that day. I doubt that they would pay you for 8 when you standardly only work 6 hours/day. I would talk to your HR (human resources) person and touch base with them; because you are considered a full-time employee since you work more than 20 hours/week, otherwise you would get 1/2 day (4 hours of holiday pay etc.).

It depends on company policy, but would be very unlikely. Some places don't give holiday pay to part timers, others prorate it so you'd get 6 hours pay.
