When a grandmother states that she prefers one grandchild over another in the same immediate family (a brother against brother). If it were between cousins, just keep them separate, but when the bias is in the same house. Your comments please.

That's cruel and I would tell grandmother that if she can't see the worth in both of your boys and make them both feel special in their own way, then you don't want her to interact with them anymore.

I am a grandmother and often hear that I favor one child over the other. The truth is my son is in jail, so I keep one child whenever it is his weekend to have her. I keep up the other child 3 days a week from daycare and keep her 1 1/2 hr. til mom gets off work and I also keep her about every other Sat. I do not love one more than the other but they have different needs. HOWEVER, I would not play favorites to a sibling, there is no sense in it. How could a grandmother love one more than the other???? They each have different personalities, traits, that make you love them for who they are.
Yes some are definately strong willed but we still love em, right!!!

I'd tell her she's lost her damn mind if she thinks that I'd put up with anyone doing that to my kids.
