Not really. Sounds like the classic symptoms of a possible stalker. I would be concerned.

Well, a lot of people want what they cant have. That is natural! But, sounds as if he might be a little psycho! Id block him from all programs and tell him to leave you alone! Dont respond if he gets through! You never know what kind of person he may be. Someone who says they love you when you havent even met in person ha some HUGE issues!

Being a guy myself, I would have to say no. But then, I know a friend who does this with others (he tends to be a bit of a stalker at times). I would say be very careful and talk to family and friends so they can know what is going on and help keep you safe, just in case. With meeting people online, you can NEVER be too careful!

Men have big ego's and are too proud sometimes. By you being distant and cooling it, he is probably finding it hard to deal with as you hurt his male pride.
Some men don't respect what you are trying to do, thinking they can always change the outcome, by being more closer and clinging on he thinks it will change things. Its a control thing !

I know im a guy as well, but I have experience, believe me.

good luck

No, this guy has a problem. The best thing is to lose him before he finds out where you live or how to keep in touch with you 24/7.

No...and it's unkewl behavior from anyone because it indicates he's living in a fantasy world where he thinks he's in love with someone he doesn't really know.

Block him or Ignore him or whatever you have to do to get the message across. Clingy/needy types have too many issues...

I wouldn't say it is normal behavior. However, saying that, I'd also state that some want what they can not have, and some or obsessed with someone and can't or won't walk away. I'd be careful if I were you.

No, I had one of those once. He never met me but was sending me pictures of sunrises and how we were going to meet and all this crazy stuff. I blocked him out.

No, he is a stalker. Advise him to back off or you will report him to the police.
